Asian weddings aren’t just a single day affair! They made up of several parts; there’s the engagement, the Nikkah, the Walima, the Civil Ceremony. However, most people agree that the Mehndi is their favourite part. It’s a relatively relaxed affair involving the closest family and friends…. in Asian terms, this usually still means 100-150 guests! And it’s day where everyone has the most fun. I’ve been involved in food fights, henna fights, water fights (there’s a trend), family games, food and dancing!
