Christenings & Baptisms

For many parents, their loved one’s Christening/Baptisms is the first big family event and certainly the most important day for them after the birth of their child.  It’s a special occasion where everyone comes together in a sacred place and makes a promise to protect and guide the new member of the family for the rest of their lives.

Photographing these events is always a huge honour for me.  The images produced are some of the most important memories I create.  It is the first opportunity for the family to come together, usually after the wedding day!  It is also the time when the grandparents are there and the photographs of the grandparents attending their grandchild’s Christening/Baptisms are memories they cherish forever.  

Making Memories

My aim is to take photographs that document the Christening by creating natural images that show the emotion of the day.  After the Christening, I will upload the photographs onto a private page on my website and forward you the link, which can be shared with family and friends.

Here are some general FAQs:

Q: Do you have backup of your equipment?

A: Yes - I always carry backup of all my gear.

Q:Are you insured?

A:Yes - I have full public liability insurance.

Q: When will I receive my images?

A: I generally aim for have the images ready within 1-2 weeks of the event.

Q: How do I pay you?

A: I will usually ask for a deposit (made online) at the time of booking and ask for the remainder once I send you the link to the online gallery. Once final payment is made, I will send you the high resolution images.

Q: Tell me more about albums, what do you offer?

A: During my editing process, I am happy to design an album of the day. Prices start at around £95. I also offer luxury  leather/silk bound, lay flat albums and I can design one of these instead as well if required. I always advise my clients to order at least one physical item; holding an actual print or album has such an impact.  The reaction of grandparents when they are given a framed print is priceless.
