Wahed Trust

The Wahed Trust was officially formed in 2016 but has been helping families and communities in Bangladesh long before. The Trust has funded the building of homes for the homeless and built mosques in the poorest areas of Bangladesh. Not to mention that it also runs a Hifz school scholarship programme.

In 2019, the Trust has teamed up with the UK charity, Porchlight who work in Kent and the Southeast to “help vulnerable and isolated people get support with their mental health, housing, education and employment “. Dr Stuart Field MBE spoke about the amazing work that Porchlight do in the Kent area.
