Georgina & Adam’s Wedding
Some people spend a year or two planning a wedding…. and then there are those who like a challenge and give themselves a month from deciding to marry, to actually marrying! They do say that variety is the spice of life and that saying could not be more apt on this amazing day.
We started off at the Wags N Tails pub where there was a Humanist Ceremony. The ceremony was conducted by the lovely Nicola Franklin, who made it personal to Georgina and Adam and evoked a few tears amongst the guests…. and the groom! Lunch was then served before we headed off to the Garden of Remembrance where we paid our respects to Georgina’s father with a glass of bubbly. We then trotted off to The Timberyard for refreshments and a showing of Burnley FC’s 2021-2022 highlights. Being a Liverpool fan, I was impressed that the Burnley highlights show lasted as long as it did!
After the football, we walked across to Eel Pie Island and to Richmond Yacht Club for the reception. There, we had close up magic from The Rat-Pack Magician, Darren Whichello, caricatures from the resident island artists, Sheba and Simon (Sheba drew the amazing wedding tour map!) as well as food, music and speeches. It was a lovely day and everyone had an amazing time as you can see in the images below.
