Welcome to the 3rd annual Shahbondor family party. It’s always nice to see everyone from bari and it’s especially important for the next generation to see their cousins and an opportunity to meet new members of the ever-growing family. This year, the event was held in east London next to Tower Bridge.
For those of use who arrived on time, the first mission was to set up the hall!
Naturally for the Shahbondori DILs (daughters in law), it was a very exciting time!
The youngsters were very much looking forward to eating sweets, having no rules, being spoilt and the bouncy castle!
Sometimes you need to young blood to step in!
There was lots of catching up to do for everyone.
Parul Bhabi may be old but with great age comes great wisdom…… She brought a fan along with her!
Our Chief guests were very well looked after! Here they are relaxing before lunch.
Meanwhile, they next generation took advantage of the bouncy castle!
After lunch there was the compulsory quiz. The Shahbondor Tigers vs the Shahbondor Ranis!
The Quizmaster didn’t take any rubbish from anyone. Look at that serious face!
After a very close battle, the Tigers won by a single point and the Ranis were very gracious in defeat. Loser makes tea!
After injuries in previous years, it was decided that the men would not take party in musical chairs this year. The plan was to let the youngsters and the ladies enjoy the game…… but there was still an injury!

2023 Men’s Tug-O-War competition was very intense!
It was supposed to be 5 men per team but if no one knows, then it didn’t happen!
